Linda M. Feltner

Linda M. Feltner is an artist who specializes in both the aesthetics and science of natural history. Her work adheres to the strict standards of scientific accuracy, while combining the creativity of artistic design and the realism of nature into what has become her trademark.

Linda has produced natural history art for over thirty years. Her career developed through interpretive media design, book and magazine illustrations, exhibitions, classroom teaching, lectures, and as a birding field guide. She designs interpretive exhibits for zoological, botanical, geological, and historical subjects. She taught wildlife drawing for the Scientific Illustration Certification Program at the University of WA, currently teaches at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum Art Institute in Tucson, AZ, Cochise College Center for Lifelong Learning, and various workshops in Wildlife Drawing, Watercolor, Pen and Ink.

Her studio is located in southeastern Arizona, where she and her husband, T. Ben Feltner, enjoy the diversity of nature in an area known for its birds, butterflies, dragonflies, reptiles, and plants.
